Just to update. Docs stopped my daughters ciclosporin altogether and her next marrow aspirate was clear. Docs are now saying her relapse may have been hematogone cells and not leukaemic blasts. Her marrow is still not fully functional thou and we are waiting results before docs decide if she would benefit from a top up of stem cells from the same donor. So very grateful she is cancer free though. X

  • My 16 year old daughter was diagnosed with pre Bcell ALL in September 2016. Her Leukaemia was very refractory and she didn't achieve a remission until January. She received an allogenic STC in March but on day 35 bone marrow check. Leukaemia was picked up. We are awaiting approval for Blinotumumab, followed by CAR TCELL therapy and if successful then a second SCT. Keen to speak to anyone who relapsed early after SCT and received a second transplant
