Aches and joint pains 2 years post transplant

Answers

  • Hi Pete

I am the lead nurse in patient services, thanks for your post. It can be normal to have aches and joint pain 2 years post transplant but it will depend on some factors. Such as your age, the treatment you have had, experience of GvHD, use of steroids etc. You can get some treatment for the aches and pain but again that will depend on the type and severity. In your follow up appointments have you discussed this with the consultant? I would encourage this but you are also welcome to call me, my number is 0207 284 8229 or 07824 139246.

    Thanks
    Hayley
